Our Commitment
McFadyen Digital is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
This Site conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across all primary public page templates as verified by automated axe-core scans. Manual keyboard and screen-reader passes are completed periodically; the most recent results are summarized in our internal accessibility log.

Accessibility Features Currently in Place
- Semantic HTML structure with landmark regions (header, navigation, main, footer).
- A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard users.
- ARIA labels and roles on interactive components, modals with focus trapping, and the mobile navigation drawer.
- Keyboard navigation support across all primary user flows.
- Visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form controls.
- Alt text fields for images uploaded via our content management system, with required validation and an explicit "decorative" option for non-informational images.
- Color contrast verified to meet WCAG AA (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components) across every public page template, including data-driven brand-color usages.
- Automated WCAG 2.1 Level A and Level AA accessibility scans run against every code change; new violations block merges to the main branch.
Known Limitations
We are aware of, and tracking remediation for, the following:
- Some content authored before alt-text validation was added may have legacy alt text that is being reviewed by our content team.
- Manual screen reader passes are performed on key public flows; less-trafficked pages are reviewed on a rolling schedule rather than per-release.
