commercetools launches Promotions Agent for AI-powered discount management

commercetools introduced Promotions Agent, an AI tool that generates promotion drafts from plain-text instructions within its Merchant Center platform, handling complex mechanics like bundles, shipping discounts, and localized content. For commerce teams, the agent reduces manual configuration work, cuts pricing errors, and enables 50x faster response to competitor pricing changes during peak seasons.
