Best Buy opens Meta AI shop-in-shops to drive experiential retail

Best Buy is rolling out 30-by-30-foot Meta AI shop-in-shops in select stores, with plans to expand to 50 locations by year-end and up to 200 by next year, after finding that over 50% of customers want to try Ray-Ban Meta glasses in person. The move signals how legacy retailers can redesign store footprints and staff training to position themselves as hubs for emerging AI-powered hardware and drive foot traffic in the digital age.
