Retailgentic announced the launch of RetailPlaybook (Retailgentic), a new newsletter and podcast channel authored by Andrew Bell, VP of Research. The channel provides research, playbooks, and strategies for 1P brands and 3P sellers to optimize their presence on Amazon's Alexa for Shopping, Walmart's Sparky, and Target Shopping Assistant.
Retailer AI shopping agents are fundamentally changing buyer behavior on these channels, causing disruption for established brands (Retailgentic). The platform addresses a critical gap: top brands that held category leadership for years are being displaced by competitors who understand how to optimize for these new agentic commerce channels, while incumbent sellers struggle to identify what is happening to their sales.
RetailPlaybook will focus initially on Amazon but will expand coverage to Sparky and Target. Retailgentic will continue its broader coverage of answer engines and agentic commerce industry trends, while RetailPlaybook specializes in tactical optimization playbooks for sellers and brands navigating these rapidly evolving retail channels.
